Wilding Stories

the moment my life changed…

Stories hold energy & emit energy.  I tell my story – I write it – I hear it for the first time said out loud – I share it – it resonates with others – it motivates & inspires – it supports & encourages – more stories – more stories – more sharing…..

“One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide.”

— Brené Brown

“Sometimes our story harbours shame, so we keep it inside. By telling the story, we liberate ourselves of the secret. This can have a big positive impact on our lives.”

—Shelley

Principles and Practice of Storytelling

Reflect

When I reflect on my own story I follow where the thoughts take me.  The reflection and the writing can often loop iteratively as I delve more deeply into what happened, how I felt, when and why the shift happened.

Share

Then I share my story, and read other wilding stories, and they resonate with each other, motivating and encouraging more stories, more learning, more support as we each realise that we’re not alone.

Discover

As we realise that we are connected, we too are beads on a necklace of power. Discover how to share your story with the Wilding community below.

Stories of Wilding Moments

We are the wilding women who have retrieved and written our stories about those wilding moments.  In sharing these stories, we have forged a circle of alchemy that continues to inspire and impact our community.

“In some of the stories there is pain; in others, joy; in almost all there is a searching for meaning - the core of what being a woman means.”

— Carol
