Finding My Environmental Voice

When I left my husband and daughter and lived alone with my son, I had a car. I could not afford to keep it and I arranged for it to go back to the work that had had it before. When it was time for me to buy I had changed and become green so I never got a car again. I was environmentally aware, as, back in the 70s, when I was in my twenties, I had met an Australian woman. She was aware of the degradation of the world and our need to stop using carbon.

I was late to the game in 1995 but have become more and more committed since.
